What an interesting book: an old house complete with secret tunnels to the sea, a gathering of completely weird characters, and an old murder/accident (which one?) to solve. A (sort-of) modern touch with the romance thrown in, but I was disappointed with how weak-kneed Spencer and April were when they were around each other. Even though they felt very suspicious of each other, they were often grabbing and kissing, only to stop and run away in fear of involvement that they both felt should never happen. Of course, one can pretty much guess they'll wind up together by the end.There's a fair number of typos in this book—wish it had been edited better, but I enjoyed the Gothic mystery ambiance with the addition of a romance thrown in. I didn't guess "who done it" and don't think many readers will. You'll have to read it yourself and see!

Endless Fear by author Adrianne Lee is an excellent mystery that is full of suspense. It definitely keeps you guessing.
This was a quick read. I hate books with a lot of description, so I consider this a good thing. Keeps you guessing to the end who did what.

Can't say enough about her writing.
Very enjoyable reading, has all of the elements a good mystery should have. I had a hard time putting it down and was anxious to get back to the book when I did. As a well written mystery, you suspected almost every character in the story and was not able to figure out who the culprit was until near the end.
Mix between Agatha Christie and Barbara Cartland, but not enough knowledge to sustain the momentum of either. Cartland was repetitious and boring. Knew who the "bad guy" was after first introduction.
April is beautiful. She has golden hair, aqua eyes, and a classic bone structure. She resembles her mother Lily, who was a famous actress. April's lovely mother is dead. And April is afraid she may have killed her.
April has spent the past twelve years of her life in a mental institution. Her father invites her to her stepbrother's engagement party. But April receives an anonymous note right after the invitation, warning her to stay away.
In spite of the note and her fears, April returns to the San Juan Islands. She must face the past. Will it cost April her life?
Adrianne's books have been on my shelves for over 16 yrs! I enjoy finding new authors, but I always pick up books by my favorites. Adrianne is one of my favorites! For me, a good book has to have suspense, romance, intrigue and I don't want to be able to guess the murderer or the would be murderer in the first few chapters. That's why I like Adrianne Lee! She delivers every time!
Endless Fear had the suspense I crave. A death years ago, was it murder? Who did it? Is April in danger? From whom? No, I'm not going to tell you, no spoilers! I leave for work very early in the morning and I'm not a morning person. It took an extra vanilla latte to get me going after I stayed up too late reading Endless Fear! But it was worth it! I know you'll enjoy it.
